Releasing the Mind: How Chinese Astrology Guides Inner Freedom

I sat with a longtime student for a refined Italian lunch, and the first thing she wanted to share was how grateful she is to the world of Chinese metaphysics, which continues to guide and serve her to this day.
Until about three years ago, we used to meet for astrology practice sessions for over ten years.

These were intimate, family like meetings where we enjoyed analyzing and exploring the charts of everyone we knew. “I no longer remember the ‘technical information,'” she shared, “but the information exists in my DNA at deep levels,” she added.
I reminded her that during the last third of the sessions, she could already look at the astrological charts I wrote on the board and feel them without remembering the small details, and I could see how she released what she knew and experienced freedom.

When she shared about the shock of being let go from a job she had for about 30 years, I could see how much she had changed.
What weighed her down had been released.
She also shared: “I was ready for this shake up based on the astrological chart I was prepared for the changes I am meant to experience during these years, and it helped me understand and accept them more easily, in a way of rounding corners.”

Like me, I understood what she was talking about.
I also found that codes and milestones in the astrological chart helped me gain guidance and understand the purpose of my life journey.
Ultimately, it also led me to freedom.
There are different levels of experiencing Chinese astrology.

One can be caught at the technical level, or one can understand how energy works, see the bigger picture, feel the energy of the chart, and experience freedom.
Freedom from Thoughts About a week ago, a young woman in her ninth month of pregnancy came for a consultation, seeking relief from obsessive thoughts that disturbed her peace in endless loops.

She had sought relief in many ways that did not truly help.
A YouTube video I uploaded about thoughts brought her to me.
The Chinese astrological chart, “Four Pillars of Destiny,” allows observation of the energetic structure she chose to experience.
I could see how the emotional issue governed her and trapped her in worries, the need to protect others, feelings of unworthiness, and taking responsibility for others to ensure everything was okay.

I could see that this structure, now controlling her, is intense this year (year of the Ox) and in this decade, causing an excess of the earth element in a fateful way for the decade and the year.
I could see its source and also that in a few months, from February 2022, her condition would balance more as she enters new energies in a new decade and year.

I could also see how she would strengthen even more personally in the future. The same birth date in the “Purple Emperor Astrology” shows in the “Karma” palace the Earth Star 8, along with the challenging Star 48, and how emotional health issues will engage her, through which she can also awaken.

“The thoughts are not yours,” I added.
“They come from outside as you hold them, you can also release them.”
Later, I helped her move beyond the mind and connect to herself. “How does it feel now, as you release stuck energy and give birth to yourself anew?”
I asked at the end of the session.
She responded: “I realized I have inner strengths I was not aware of, to release the thoughts.
I also realized that I had put my energy outside and that is what caused me to lose balance.”
Chinese astrology can lead us to freedom.
